Electric Cars
An Electric Car is a type of electric vehicle that utilizes electric power rather than petrol, diesel or gasoline. This electric power is derived from the rechargeable motor batteries placed in the car. So these vehicles can also be named as the alternative fuel cars, which run on a single or many electric motors. However, apart from the deviation in the engine, an Electric Car is quite similar to the general cars in terms of looks as well as performance. The inspiration of the Electric Car dates back to somewhere in between 1832 and 1839 when the first electric carriage was invented by a Scottish businessman, Robert Anderson. Later in 1835, Prof. Sibrandus Stratingh designed a petty Electric Car, which he got constructed by his assistant Christopher. Once initiated, the concept of the Electric Car kept growing with time, with many more innovations and additions.
